CUET (UG)

The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is being introduced for admission into all UG Programs in all Central Universities from Academic session 2023-24 under the Ministry of Education, (MoE). A single Examination will enable the Candidates to cover a wide outreach and be a part of the admissions process to various Central Universities. The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) will provide a common platform and equal opportunities to candidates across the country, especially those who belongs to the rural and other remote areas and help establish better connect with the Universities. Scheme of Examination

CUET Syllabus

This test will be conducted in hybrid mode in 2024 (OMR Based/Computer Based) consists of objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and a candidate can choose up to 6 subjects (4-Domain + 1 Language + 1 General Test) or (3-Domain + 2 Language + 1 General Test) of different combination for giving the exam.

Language – Language to be tested through Reading Comprehension based on different types of passages – Factual, Literary and Narrative, Literary Aptitude and Vocabulary.

Domain Subject – Complete Class 12th Syllabus - As given on National Testing Agency (NTA) website.

General Test – General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Basic Mathematical Concepts of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, mensuration, statistics), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.
