CUET UG 2026
Common University Entrance Test (CUET) introduced by UGC conducted by NTA is a national level entrance exam for admissions in various Undergraduate Courses offered by central universities in India. CUET aims to provide equal opportunities for students across country for admissions in UG Courses. Making the admission process absolutely transparent and less dependent on Class 12th Board Exam scores.
Students can fill CUET Application Form online in the month of March through the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA). Exam is scheduled to happen in the month of May in CBT mode.
CUET Syllabus
CUET is conducted in CBT mode since 2025 consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidate can choose up to maximum 5 subject (3-Domain + 1 Language + 1 General Aptitude Test) of different combination for giving the exam. This test consists of 50 questions per paper and all questions are compulsory. CUET Syllabus consists of Language, General Aptitude Test & domain subjects.
- Language – English Language to be tested by Reading Comprehension based on different types of passages – Factual, Literary & Narrative, Literary Aptitude & Vocabulary.
- Domain Subjects – Domain Subjects are specific for Science, Commerce & Humanities students consists of complete class 12th CBSE Board syllabus.
- General Aptitude Test – This consists of General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Numerical Ability, General Mental Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, Basic Mathematical Concepts (algebra, arithmetic, geometry, mensuration, statistics), Logical & Analytical Reasoning.
